I have never used a hair removal product and I needed to remove my chest hair (and I am a bit hairy). I tried this one after a minimal amount of research. I followed the instructions exactly and not much happened. I did it again later with more time and my hair just kind of came off-it was weird. Bottom-line, it worked.iHerb Customer

I bought this because time is short with a 1 year old in the house so trimming is not currently an option. Here’s the lowdown. It’s £9, stinks of rotting flesh. Tried shoulders, hips and feet. Of which the latter two – nothing happened. Shoulders were patchy – not even 1/3 came off. Apparently results only last 5-7. Which begs the question- why bother even if it did work? It’s not often I’m disappointed in something. How do I get a refund? The only think this gets rid of is the £10 I binned in good faith.James1982

Okay, this is probably going to be a little bit of an embarrassing review. I feel that sometimes it's super important to do one of those every now and again. So I went online to look at YouTubers who have tried different hair removal creams. I have very coarse hair on my legs, armpits, and the nether regions. I came across this guy who uses this in his sensitive areas. He said that he also had coarse hair and that normally he gets bad ingrown hairs when he shaves down there. I thought, if it's good enough for him, it's good enough for me. So I ordered mine online through Amazon and waited for it to come. When it finally came I ripped open the package, read the directions, and prepped myself for pure pain! I've tried nair down below and I thought my who-he was going to completely burn off! First thing I noticed that I liked is that it was a thicker formula so where I put it is where it stayed. Second thing, is the smell isn't their initially but as it starts burning the hair off, it's not the greatest smell. Most creams don't smell good and I'm okay with that. I first tried it for the minimum 3 minutes… That did nothing! Since I'm not a first time hair cream removal person, I knew to try it for a little bit longer and give it another shot. I waited 24 hours so I didn't have any reactions on my skin and the next day I put it on for about 4 minutes 30 seconds. I checked a small portion before fully removing it and I left it on for another 30 seconds. Apparently this is allowed to stay on for 6 minutes total. When I left it on for 5 minutes, It did amazing! I've been using it on all areas that have hair and it's done a great job for me! I always have ingrown hairs and so far, nothing! I'm going to continue to use this for the next couple months and see if I still feel the same way. I'm pretty happy about this, I also decided to try it on the rear end. It did a great job in that area too! Normally I end up having a rash because of the friction of my butt cheeks lol. All in all unpleasantly surprised with this product and I will continue to use it!emily.t

Thing worked fine for a while, until it sliced my coin purse open. The “skinsafe” cutting head sliced me open like a razor knife. Wrote to customer service about it, their response was to offer a replacement head. Thanks but no thanks.
Then my trimmer became possessed. It would turn itself on and off randomly. It woke me up one night buzzing away after it had jumped off the counter onto the tile floor. I turned it off only to have it turn back on again seconds later. Tried plugging it into the charger, no dice. Still turned itself on. So I took the head off it and left it in the sink bowl so it couldn’t damage anything else.
Customer service offered a free replacement. I accepted and gave my mailing address. They sent me a replacement CUTTING HEAD. FOR THE TRIMMER I CANT EVEN USE ANYMORE.

It stopped working after less than 15 uses. I use it as intended, but also on my head if my fuzz gets to long for a Bic. First of all, I think a handheld Bic is safer, iv cut myself dozens of with this, and second it broke after a dozen of so uses. It is supposed to under warranty, but when I emailed I said if it's not covered under warranty and this is the quality of product I can expect, I wish to cancel all subscriptions. They canceled all subscriptions. Just shows that they don't even stand behind their own product.michael walker

This trimmer is powerful. It handles the corners like it's on rails! It glides effortlessly over the hairiest parts without so much as a howdie doo. It cuts close and even better, it doesn't take much time. I don't know who at Ballsy was responsible for this mystical hair destroyer, maybe magical unicorns on the island of smooth, but it's fantastic. I highly recommend this as once again, their products are top notch. My wife loves using it on me too and let's just say, I never knew shaving my undercarriage could inspire such acrobatic events as from my wife after she applies this to my nethers with the utmost of care.Dean M.

I got the B & B Trimmer for my husband for our wedding anniversary which was on August 29th. He has tried it several times now but unfortunately does not like it because, "It does not give me a close enough shave." He's been using a razor for years which he says gives him a much closer shave. I didn't realize when I ordered it for him that the return period was only 30 days. I want to thank you All at Ballsy for creating this trimmer for me!!!! Once I charged it up I couldn't wait to give it try because I had a lot of hair there that I was aoo ready to get rid of. I uses it bedwetting in the shower and I have to say that it was not only easy to grip it was formed to move nicely along on ……area with no concerns of nicks and snagging of hair. I must admit I would get nervous and scared to run anything along my private areas that had a blade and motorized. While the trimmer works well, I've owned it less than a year and a comb broke as there made of light weight plastic. Their website does not show replacement combs for sale and no phone number is anywhere to contact them other than email. If they would just list these parts this review would not be negative. Honestly, I have been looking for a good trimmer for the “below the belt” region forever! I am glad to report, that this is it. This does exactly what it claims. It perfectly trims those hard to reach and sensitive areas. Really well thought-out design and blade strength. 10/10 would recommend for the boys.David

Maybe I had a bad bottle, but the straw inside (which pumps up the product) went less than half way down the bottle. I didn't notice this until the pump stopped working when the bottle was still over half full. I could tell from the shape of the straw at the end that it hadn't snapped so it was put in like that. now very very messy to get any product out so I just gave up and threw it away. Secondly, I don't think it actually worked that well. It didn't remove hair as effectively as the other types Veet sell. It was sensitive, but should sensitive mean less effective?Mrs JK

I WOULD be leaving 5 stars on this, because I absolutely loved my Manscaped trimmer. Until I bought TWO and both broke. Spent around $200 now. First time, bought and loved it. I used it till I died. Then I went to charge it and it lit up for a while, came back and whole thing was dead. I was like damn okay maybe I over charged it or got water in it on accident. Bought a new one. When it died this time I was EXTRA careful. I let it sit out for two days to dry before charging. I only let it charge for 20 minutes at a time. SAME THING HAPPENED. Neither charger nor device will work, on either set now and I’m so bummed and frustrated that I wasted all this money.Hannah McCoy

Waterproof is perfection, why get hair on your floor when you can let it go down the drain. The guards are essential, virtually impossible to cut yourself with one in place. It fits my hand perfectly and is surprisingly lightweight. The charger stand (wireless charging) uses a standard USB-C connector, so no worries if you lose the adapter included. Charging is fast and easy, The concept of a separate trimmer for upstairs beard and another for downstairs just makes too much sense. So if you are going for smooth look – the Manscaped razor is fantastic and works perfectly. However, unless the hair is about 1/4 inch or less, the razor plugs up really fast. The mower takes care of that. Pre-trim with the mower, then hit it with the razor. Overall, this thing is a great tool, designed for a very specific purpose.BinkyBarns

The lawn mower 4.0 touts ceramic skin safe blades that don’t cut or knick the skin. Completely false claim. Every single time I trim downstairs I get cut multiple times. The trimmer DOES NOT trim as close to the skin as they claim. A $20 Norelco trimmer actually trims closer to the skin. I can use the lawn mower & follow up with the Norelco & still trim shorter than the lawn mower by itself. Your trim area has to be silky smooth before u use this lawn mower or it will catch the skin every time without fail & cut you. Every time. Manscaped products are amazing for what they’re designed for. The lawn mower is a nice trimmer. It just doesn’t trim as close as they claim & it will cut your skin. Their claims on their website are just a sales pitch bullshit claim. They know it doesn’t trim to the skin. They know the damn thing will cut you. They know this & they care nothing about it. Just shut your mouth, spend $100 on the trimmer & you will believe what we tell you. I’d provide pics if they weren’t pics of downstairs. I have 3 cuts right now & still can’t get close to the skin. It had been decades since I used hair remover product. I decided to try it again. It is advertised as 27% less chemical ingredients than the previous formula. Wow, this stuff is amazing. MUCH different than what I've tried years ago. This is a nice pump bottle and the cream comes out as cream. Not watery or seperated. Came out as cream. Even has a little cap to prevent an unwanted pump. The spong it came with makes so much sense. I sit over the side of my bath tub when using this. You totally don't have to, but I do. So first I apply cream to the yellow softer side of sponge and rub all over my legs. Then after 6 minutes I use the slightly rougher white side of sponge to wipe away. Leaves my legs hairless, smooth and moisturized. There is no chemical smell, no need to vent the bathroom, no headache. Nothing like I remeber. Has a nice light clean violet scent This stuff rocks! I feel confident enough to let my pre tween daughter to use it too.

Upon first look the description on the bottle is very deceiving. It specifically says “in shower hair removal cream”. Reading that you would think you could use 100% in the shower. Because the product is wrapped in plastic to keep the sponge attached you can’t read the instructions until after purchase and opening. The instruction state that you apply before your shower and wait 3 minutes and than shower without a direct stream on product. I do like that it does actually work and the sponge is nice to get the product off of you good. It really does work well and leaves my legs soft. I just wish the info on the bottle was different.Mytmouse33

I get horrible razor burn on the inside of my upper legs and bikini line when shaving, so was excited to try this as a shaving alternative. Upon opening the product, I noticed that the smell was not as terrible as other products I have used. You apply the product with a little sponge the size of your palm. You have to make sure the hair you want to remove is completely covered, so just my entire upper legs seemed to take a lot of product. Once you apply, you have to leave it on for 6 – 10 minutes, so make time for this before your shower. Once you get in the shower, you are able to wipe the hair off with the same sponge. I applied this on leg hair that had been shaved 2 days prior, and it seemed to do a really spotty job. I ended up having to shave to catch the hairs that weren’t removed, so I was not super impressed with the end result. Maybe it is made for longer hair? On a positive note, my skin did not react to or burn when using this.lyssamae01

It causes red marks and rashes to appear, after I use it. I’ve since found other products that are better for sensitive skin, which I now regularly use. Omg ! This product caused huge irritation on my bf’s body . Yes it removed hair , but after putting it just for a minute it made his skin so red and even damaged in some areas . It took 4 days to recover by putting aloe Gel . And his skin isn’t sensitive at all ! So I put 3 stars because partly it works , but it’s irritating. Be careful when using itiHerb Customer

I was really skeptical about this product, Mainly because I used a regular clipper and a blade. But this is pretty easy to use. This is a little different from clippers because the trimming edge has a protector near the blade that prevents it from cutting your skin. It's still not idiot-proof and you can still cut yourself with this product but it is a lot safer. The battery lasted a while to clip my area and it's waterproof so I can bring this into the shower. LED light comes in handy. I love the additional lotion and body wash. It really makes my area smooth. I think there was a review here or somewhere on the net saying that there are no replacement blades. Go to manscape's website and they do sell the blades. the Mower 2.0 and 3.0 uses the same blades.emptystreets130

You see ads everywhere for this thing and the biggest selling point is the biggest let down. That being it won’t cut or snag. If you use the attachment that usually doesn’t happen but then you don’t get a close shave. If you have no attachments on which is how you can attempt a close a shave i was disappointed but getting cut seconds into using it. I gave it a few more tries and it happened again. Not really an issue with the Phillips one blade. Which also shaves much closer and in the years I’ve had it maybe have had a slight snag once or twice but not like this shaver. Only thing this has an advantage with is the led light but that literally is the only good thing about it. What can I say, this does exactly what it says it will. Took off ALL the hair and left me silky smooth. Top tip: I would recommend doing a patch test first, leaving it on for the max time (as long as you don't feel any irritation), but then wait a good 48 hours before you delve straight in and do the whole bush and undercarriage. I didn't and regretted it massively. I was on FIRE! My own silly fault though for going over the same area twice in 24 hours and lesson learnt! My only issue with this product is the smoothness doesn't last long enough for me, it's akin to shaving really. But while I was hairless, it was heaven! Plus with salons closed it really is the next best thing. Also I had no uncomfortable itching with regrowth like I have with shaving. So easy to apply, just whack it on, wait up to 6 mins then jump in the shower and wipe it off. I used a face cloth – now dedicated for my nether regions. I have taken one star off because the tube isn't very big. I'm not that hairy, but I think I will struggle to get three applications out of this so for the price its quite expensive, especially as I'd want to use it every 1 to 2 weeks to stay smooth. Despite that fact, if you can afford it and want a clean, smooth foof then go for it!Twinkles13

I popped this on the under carriage, left it , checked it and left it a little longer and washed it off. Yes, it has the usual hair remover smell but it is tempered somewhat by the soothing rose oil. Results are very good, smooth, no pain and good hair removal. Very small amount of stubble where I did not put it thick enough – but will get this next time. Easier and cheaper than waxing. Its a small tube, you do need a decent layer – but its not exactly a large area so the tube will last a while.Rosebudfrog

I usually get waxed in a salon but was curious to try this as I can't at the moment and it was the first one I have seen that said it was suitable for a Hollywood style removal. I found it worked well for bikini / Brazilian areas but not so well for Hollywood where it didn't remove much. I was not keen to try reaplying in case of burning though. I do not have particularly sensitive skin and didn't have any major reactions to it but am quite stingy and a little sore afterwards in some places. It feels a bit too risky for me and seems very easy to really mess your skin up if using it regularly. Given these factors I don't think I will bother with it again and will stick to shaving until the salons are open. However, if I was only looking to do a bikini line or Brazilian I might have given it another go. I will use it up on my underarms instead!Susiesml

I was really hoping this item would be worth the price as it is really cute and small enough for tiny areas but unfortunately for me it does not do the job. If you are undergoing laser hair removal, you will be advised not to wax or pluck at all between appointments. You are advised to only "shave". I used this for some facial hair but it did not cut very close if at all. I was better off just using a regular electric razor, Bummed.Rosemary

I have been using this product off on for a couple of years. It works well when it works. However, it tends to get clugged up really easily. Even when you clean it out thoroghly it still isn't as clean as you think it is. Because there is a part in the top where you screw it on, and you cannot see all the hair that builds up in there. So, you even need to take that piece apart. But, be careful this is a little tricky because there are a lot of mall parts that can get lost. I suggest you use tweezers to this process on a table if you do not want lose any of those pieces. Overall, I would not recommend this product for an adolescent or someone who is unable to keep up with the cleaning process of this prosuct. I mention an adolescent not using the flawless facial shaver because he is the one responsible for clogging it up when shaving his little mustache. lolMelissa
